About us
We want people to understand the importance of caring for defenseless creatures. Each person can make their small contribution to make this world a little brighter and they must believe that good can be done just like that, without any benefit, and that miracles happen. Our Frosya wants to give you this faith.
I dreamed of building something good for those who were deprived by fate, opening a shelter for animals. And I, having read books on feng shui, began to visualize these dreams of mine. It took about 10 years for these dreams to come true. The universe heard me.
During this time, my husband was deeply touched by the problems of Ukraine and learned that it is necessary to share what the universe sends you. We bought a piece of land for a shelter in Kryvyi Rih. And by that time, we already had a dog, Frosya, which I brought to Switzerland. That’s why I decided to name the shelter Frosya.
About Frosja you can read here.
Living in Switzerland, I saw the attitude towards animals, and it was a big difference from my Motherland. Unfortunately, many people, even in the 21st century, are cruel to animals. .
But it didn’t work out with the opening of the shelter, there was a hassle with papers for about 3 years. While the fate of the shelter was being decided, I lost patience, my hands were itchy, I wanted to build something. Moreover, I gained some experience in renovation (in Switzerland, they renovated a house that is more than 300 years old).
This is how the idea arose – to build a playground near the house where (my late mother) once lived and where my brother lives now. At that time, he was completely unorganized. My brother and I made a mini-project. We never did it, but we decided to try it, because when I came to Ukraine, I had this sad playground in front of my eyes. This is how our stage of construction of playgrounds began, and this is how the “Dog” playground, located in the city of Kryvyi Rih, appeared. And on the entrance arch there was a photo of our beloved dog Frosi (in whose honor the Charity Organization is named) and who was also born in the city of Kryvyi Rih.
Read about children play garden in Krivyi Rig.
The emotions from how the children rejoiced at the carousels and the sand under their feet were indescribable. I showed the photo and video to my husband, and he admitted to me that he felt that giving something just like that, to people he doesn’t even know, fills him with joy. And having finished the “Puppy” playground, I already wanted to build further.
I began to look for children’s institutions, which would need repair of rooms or a new playground. That’s how I found out about the house for children with disabilities. They really needed a place where they can move around – both in wheelchairs, and where there will be a gazebo under which they can hide from the rain and sun, play games and do interesting things. Construction work coincided with quarantines, so the process was delayed a little.
Well, the next playgarden, we were looking for, as they say, where God will send. I Googled the addresses of orphanages in Kryvyi Rih. That’s how we ended up in Malyuk’s house, where children from birth to 4 years old live, who have no parents or are deprived of parental rights. I also asked what they needed first. So we started building 4 separate playgrounds for children of different age groups. We made a festive opening of the playgrounds, where children were entertained by fairy-tale characters. The next project has been on the way for a long time. I set out to make several rooms for the children of the younger group – for sleeping, eating and playing. The design project was almost ready, and I was going to go to Ukraine in March to start preparing for construction work. But it was not destined. The war crossed out all plans and dreams. As for millions of Ukrainians. Now it’s not pretty anymore, the main thing is to survive – for both people and animals. Therefore, we have now changed our activities to the period of the War.
Our organization is me, my husband, my brother, his wife, living in Krivoy Rog. They control the whole process with my participation.
