I am often asked where does this love for animals come from? Or, I also often hear the phrase “I also love animals. I am often asked where such love for animals comes from? Or, I also often hear the phrase “I also love animals, but you have this love at some incredible level!” And it’s true ! Walking down the street, I can pass and not notice a person I know, but I will always see a dog or a cat! Not only that, I always communicate with them! I have this love since childhood, and I am lucky that my parents did not deny me anything! But unfortunately, when I was 9 years old, I became an orphan, my parents died in an accident. And my younger brother and I lived with our grandmothers, but you have this love at an incredible level!” And it’s true! I can walk down the street and not notice a familiar person, but I will always see a dog or a cat! Not only that, I always communicate with them! I’ve had this love since childhood, and I’m lucky that my parents didn’t deny me anything! But unfortunately, when I was 9 years old, I became an orphan, my parents died in an accident. And I lived with my grandmother with my younger brother.
One of the grandmothers had a house and farm, and I always brought some livestock home and the grandmother never refused me! Not only that, sometimes she brought someone herself! We sent goats, collected herbs for tea, mowed the grass in the morning, and my grandmother always baked something delicious! And I absorbed all this in myself, in my heart! Everyone who knows me will say that I have been saying since I was a child that I would have my own shelter for animals! And the time just came, and I decided to make my dream come true! And I wanted something global and unusual! I wanted it to be a legacy for our children and the new generation! Not just a shelter, but a corner of nature where children can come and take part in the life of animals and be in another world, a world where nature and silence.
It is very difficult to decide on a project that is not similar to others… a project where there will be a combined center for dogs and a cat house… an eco farm and permaculture… eco and gastrotourism… where there will be workshops for children and their parents. … thematic photo sessions. All this will be on a charitable basis, not for money! EVERYONE WILL DECIDE HIMSELF HOW MUCH TO LEAVE THE SHELTER!!! I appeal to everyone who once dreamed of a shelter, who, passing by another animal, squeezes his heart that he cannot help, who due to circumstances cannot take an animal home, but dreams of helping or participating in a good cause!!!!
Unfortunately, all this stopped because of the war, but because of it, the number of animals is growing!
War is exhausting…
Panic and fear are war’s best friends. Seeing all the horror that is happening in your house, it is difficult not to let your heart become petrified with pain for everything that lives in our beautiful Ukraine. You are what you choose now. I choose now to take care of myself and those who cannot take care of themselves. We have to remember. That when the war removes the mask, we will be left face to face with who we were in this troubled time. And with what we chose.
What we did Since the first days of the war, I have been doing everything I can to help animals and people, because so many people are helping me! I keep these people in my heart as an example for myself, and every morning I have my ritual, I drink coffee, read the Bible, pray and think about what I can do today!
At the moment, a territory of goodness is being created, it is a shelter for animals – Living Eco Farm “NEW WORLD”
This is a project that will heal hearts and souls crushed by war! Because love heals our heart, and an animal warms it.
Only together we can stand! We are still a whole, Ukraine is not divided into parts!
